Pelatih Juventus Antonio Conte memberikan pujian kepada para pemain yang telah bekerja keras ketika Bianconeri bermain imbang 1-1 di kandang Catania.
Gonzalo Bergessio membawa Catania ini unggul lebih dulu. Namun Juventus bangkit di babak kedua, dan gol Milos Krasic di menit ke-49 berhasil menyamakan kedudukan.
“Saya merasa senang dengan performa yang diperlihatkan para pemain, karena mereka tidak ingin kalah di pertandingan ini, dan menunjukkan semangat juang yang sempurna,” ujar Conte dilansir laman resmi klub.
Walau memperoleh hasil imbang, Juventus tetap berada di puncak klasemen Serie A Italia. Namun Conte mengingatkan anak asuhnya agar tetap berpijak ke bumi.
“Kami tidak boleh memanjakan diri sendiri, tidak membuat fans terlena. Kami harus harus terus bekerja keras agar terus meningkat. Kami harus tetap ingat tim ini hanya menempati posisi tujuh klasemen dua musim berturut-turut,” kata Conte.
Juventus selanjutnya akan menghadapi juara bertahan AC Milan di Turin pada 2 Oktober mendatang.
