Turin - Kabar buruk menerpa Juventus. Gelandang Mauro Camoranesi mengalami cedera dan diperkirakan harus absen selama lima hingga delapan pekan.
Seperti diberitakan dalam situs resmi Juve, Camoranesi mengalami patah tulang rusuk yang didapatkannya saat laga melawan Chelsea di babak 16 besar Liga Champions, Kamis (26/2/2009) dini hari WIB.
Cedera itu terjadi usai Camoranesi berbenturan dengan Frank Lampard di awal babak kedua. Camo pun harus ditarik keluar lapangan dan digantikan Marco Marchionni.
Belum diumumkan berapa lama Camoranesi harus beristirahat. Namun, pada umumnya, cedera tulang rusuk membutuhkan waktu selama lima hingga delapan pekan untuk proses penyembuhan.
Dengan keadaan tersebut, maka La Vecchia Signora akan kehilangan servis Camo saat menjalani laga-laga berat seperti melawan Napoli (28/2/2009), derby dengan Torino (7/3/2009), dan melawan AS Roma (21/3/2009), serta leg kedua babak 16 besar Liga Champions versus Chelsea (10/3/2009).
